| Here is 3179.P179LKL working route 286 in Rochester Way outside St
Barnabus Church on what looks like a warm summers day the 19 August 2002.
3179 was acquired from Arriva Kent & Sussex in 1998. The 286 works
from Dartford Garage (DT)

| Almost a year later on 10 July 2003 sees 3179 working the 286 again
in Rochester Way. This time heading for Greenwich. It looks a bit knocked
about on the front offside.

| A few months later on a bright winters day 21 December 2003, and the
damage has been repaired, 3179 is also sporting a nice new coat of paint,
this time Arriva red. It is however still working from DT on the 286. New
Transport for London rules state that all new TfL contracted routes will
have to use red buses. 3179 is now ready.
