LT Museum The Depot, Acton

RT 113. FXT 288 and RT 1702. KYY 579.
RT 113 is one of the batch commonly called pre-war RTs, but they were actually built during the war. These had a roof box route number at both the front and rear.
RT 1702 was one of the four sent on a tour of Europe in 1950 to promote The Festival of Britain in 1951. They covered around 4,000 miles on the tour. Inside on the upper and lower decks a commemorative plaque has been fitted. Also the GB pate at the rear. These buses kept their individual identities when overhauled.
