Mottingham Road

A route 161A, RT charges down Mottingham Road en route to Woolwich on a warm afternoon in July 1967. The front and side windows opened to give a breeze through the top deck. The blind display is one of the older all upper case letter types.

These days a speed camera has been installed hereabouts. I wonder if this driver would have been caught out if it had been there then

The 161a was Petts Wood Station to Woolwich, extended rush hours to Victoria Way, Charlton. Some journeys were Woolwich and Chislehurst only..
